Location
We offer a warm and comfortable retreat in this most beautiful part
of the Lake District. We are just a short stroll (450 metres) to the
shores of majestic Lake Windermere and are close to shops, restaurants
and cinema.
We have a large secluded garden for you to relax in and a private car
park and garaging complete the picture.
How to find us
By Train
- There is a train station in Windermere which joins the west coast
main line at Oxenholme (you may need to change here)
- Exit the train station and turn left (the Tourist Information is
left on the corner)
- Follow steps 3 - 7 below, this is approx 1 mile walk.
By Car
- From the M6 turn off at junction 36
- On arrival in Windermere Village you will see the Windermere Hotel
on the right
- Turn left here (Tourist Information is left on the corner) Bowness
is approx.1 mile from here
- Continue through Windermere, through the one way system and follow
the road to Bowness (Lake Road)
- Go past the police station on the left
- Go past Messina's Bistro on your left
- Continue past a block of flats and you will se a row of garages,
again on the left-hand side. The double garage and space in front
is Latimer house car park
- Latimer house is opposite intercontinental cyber cafe
- If you pass the Royalty Cinema you have gone too far!
